Turbina Francis Exhibition Pavilion
Turbina Francis Exhibition Pavilion
The Francis turbine is housed in an exhibition pavilion that provides shelter and protection against the elements, while highlighting its presence.
The personnel in charge of the visits will explain to the group of visitors what a turbine is, what it is used for, its parts, the different types of turbine, applications, etc.
This machine comes from the hydroelectric power station located at the foot of the Talave reservoir dam. The function of the turbine is to use the potential energy of the water, stored at a higher elevation, and convert it, first into mechanical energy and then into electrical energy.
