The Segura Hydrographic Confederation, as an autonomous body as stated in the Law 19/2013, of December 9 , of transparency, access to public information and good governance, in article 2.1 it has the obligation as an active object to publish periodically and updated information whose knowledge is relevant to guarantee the transparency of its activity related to the operation and control of public performance.
In the processing of requests for access to information, as well as in other aspects of the application of this Law, it depends on the Transparency Information Unit of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment (MAPAMA).
As stated in the law in articles 6, 7 and 8, it is obliged to publish institutional, organizational and planning information, information of legal relevance and economic, budgetary and statistical information.

In the case of contracts, they can be consulted through the Transparency Portal platform contracts awarded from on January 1, 2014. To carry out the search within the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment (MAPAMA). It is necessary to put in the contracting agency filter “Confederación Hidrográfica del Segura”
