The source of Crevillente Canal is the Partidor (Municipal District of Fortuna), at km 30.8 from the Ojós dam, being diverted on the left bank, with an initial capacity of 16 m³/s and a total length of 30 km as far as the Crevillente pumping station that leads up to the reservoir of the same name.

Built for irrigation purposes of Zone IV and the left bank irrigation community Riegos de Levante Margen Izquierda, crossing the municipal districts of Abanilla in Murcia, and Orihuela, Albatera, Crevillente and Elche in Alicante. It also helps supply the Torrealta Water Treatment Plant.
Crevillente Canal Cross-Section
In general, the canal flows along in the open air, and the following exceptional infrastructures are incorporated:
Briones Tunnel, Chicamo Aqueduct, on reaching the Torrealta diversion, the cross-section changes and the flow rate is reduced to 11m³/s until the Crevillente regulating reservoir, then Melones and Agueda aqueducts and Crevillente Tunnel.
