Protection zones: bathing, minerals, hot springs, fish, mollusks, sensitive and vulnerable In the demarcation there are ten (10) zones for the protection of mineral and / or thermal waters with authorization, 120 beaches, seven (7) zones of production of mollusks and other marine invertebrates, two (2) areas declared of fishing interest, nine (9) vulnerable areas, there are seven (7) declared sensitive areas, five (5) in inland waters, one (1) in transitional waters and one (1) in coastal waters. |

Protection areas and supply catchment In the demarcation there are currently sixteen (16) mass catchments of surface water for supply, one hundred and four (104) in groundwater bodies, and six (6) abstractions in coastal areas by desalination plants. In each of these catchments, the protected areas for each of them are established, according to article 4.1 IPH. |
