European Cohesion Policy and the Spanish Economy
(*) This work offers a quantitative estimation of the credible magnitude of the effects of community aid during the 1989-2006 effects on key macroeconomic variables such as the GDP, income per capita, employment, employment rate and productivity. To do this, the HERMIN-Spain macroeconomic model is used, which makes it possible to compare the evolution of these variables, with and without community grants.
