Project’s area
The Project will operate at different points between the merge of the Segura and Mundo rivers and Cieza’s city centre.
Total Project area adds up to 343,80 hectares, distributed as follows:
- 7,05 Km Cañaverosa Reserve (Site of Community Interest, SCI) = 42,30 ha.
- 6,5 Km Almadenes Natural Reserve (SCI) =39 ha.
- 31,15 Km of ‘Natura 2000’ Network x 20 m = 186,90 ha.
- 12,6 Km of non-protected river x 30 m = 75,6 ha.
