Description: El Convenio de Ramsar, o Convenio relativo a los Humedales de Importancia Internacional especialmente como Hábitat de Aves Acuáticas, surge de la firma del mismo en la ciudad de Ramsar, Irán, el 2 de febrero de 1971 y establece la creación a nivel internacional de una red de humedales conocida como Lista Ramsar. Los datos geográficos proceden de las autoridades competentes, la base de datos asociada esta adaptada al modelo de datos establecido para esta información en el Banco de Datos de la Naturaleza. Contiene información del humedal, así como los datos publicados en el Boletín Oficial de Estado: Comunidad Autónoma, provincia y superficie oficial. Los datos geográficos se crearon en Junio de 1995. En el año 2011 se realizan las siguientes declaraciones: Castilla-La Mancha (1), Principado de Asturias (1), Región de Murcia (2) y Aragón (2). Así mismo, se modifica el límite de un Ramsar en la Comunidad Autónoma de Castilla y León. En el año 2014 se actualiza el límite de Txingudi (BOE 10/04/2014)
